FAFSA: The Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) is a free application that helps students determine if they qualify for federal financial aid. This aid can include grants, loans, and work-study funds
FSA ID: Students and parents will need to create their own account to apply for, receive, and manage their federal student aid.
TASFA: The Texas Application for State Financial Aid (TASFA) is a free application that helps determine eligibility for state financial aid in Texas. Students who are Texas residents but can't apply for federal financial aid using the FAFSA can use the TASFA.
CSS PROFILE: The CSS Profile is an online application used by colleges and scholarship programs to award non-federal institutional aid.

HAZLEWOOD ACT: The Hazlewood Act is a State of Texas benefit that provides qualified Veterans, spouses, and dependent children with an education benefit of up to 150 hours of tuition exemption, including most fee charges, at public institutions of higher education in Texas. This does NOT include living expenses, books, or supply fees.
