Meet Jesus Sanchez, Class of 2018!

Jesus is now a Project Manager at a renewable tech company and a proud UTRGV graduate. During college, he held leadership roles such as President of the Exercise Science Club and Student Rep for the Exercise is Medicine initiative. He also worked as a student athletic trainer and helped run official FC Barcelona Summer Camp Tours.

At Rowe, Jesus was a 3-year Varsity QB, played varsity soccer and basketball, and served as a McAllen ISD Student Ambassador. He also earned over 20 college credit hours before graduating.

Advice to students:
"You are the author of your own story. Write it how you want to be remembered."

Meet Crystal Del Toro, Class of 2007!

Now an attorney in Houston, Crystal became the first Hispanic female attorney hired by The Buzbee Law Firm, one of the top trial firms in the country. She's led high-profile civil litigation cases, including those involving NFL quarterback Deshaun Watson, and specializes in personal injury and wrongful death cases.

While at Rowe, Crystal was co-captain of the Lady Warriors basketball team, played volleyball and softball, and was active in choir. She remembers the energy of being cheered on at basketball games and credits Rowe’s athletic program with building her discipline, grit, and determination.

Advice to students:
"Do not be limited by your circumstances. Take the spirit of the Warrior to heart—it takes a warrior to fight through adversity."
